Judge Reopens Wikileaks Case For New Questions

Boston (dbTechno) - Judge Jeffrey White has reopened the case regarding Wikileaks.org. It was only a week ago that the site was ordered to be shut down due to documents that appeared on it in regards to financial situations of various companies. It is being opened back up though for a new hearing.

Microsoft Cuts Price of Windows Vista

Boston (dbTechno) - Microsoft will be cutting the price of Windows Vista at retail locations to try and give it a boost in sales. The Windows Vista Home Premium, and Vista Ultimate editions will both be receiving price cuts.

Washington (dbTechno) - Google Inc. has lifted the curtain and unveiled a brand new plan to give patients in the U.S. full control over their medical records, allowing them to have their own personal medical records kept right at their fingertips, whenever needed.

Study Shows U.S. Adults Not Getting Enough Sleep

New York (dbTechno) - A new report released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has revealed that 10% of U.S. adults are not getting enough rest or sleep on a daily basis. It appears that many Americans are missing out on the much-needed rest time every night.

Baby Deaths Caused By Clutter In Cribs

Boston (dbTechno) - According to a warning to parents by the Consumer Product Safety Commission, having too much clutter in the crib of a baby, whether it be with too many pillows, blankets, etc. can put babies at risk of harm, and even death.
The agency stated that between 2002 and 2004, there were 241 child deaths, with 40% of them involving cribs. In all of the deaths, the kids were under the age of 5. Read more
Google Medical Records Raise Privacy Concerns

Boston (dbTechno) - Google is working with the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio to start up a pilot program to store patient health records online. This is causing a great deal of privacy concerns among people as they are unsure of how safe their medical records will be on Google.
The pilot program that Google and the Cleveland Clinic have set up will consist of around 1,500 to 10,000 patient volunteers. Read more
