AMD Saves Energy With Five New Server Processors

Boston (dbTechno) - Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) unveiled five new quad-core Opteron processors on Monday. All five processors are energy-efficient, consuming around 55-watts on average.

FCC To Test Transition From Analog To Digital TV In N.C.

Norfolk (dbTechno) - The FCC has announced that they will test out the transition from analog TV broadcasts to digital this September. The test will be carried out in Wilmington, North Carolina and will likely expand from there.
Starting on September 8, WWAY, WSFX, WECT, WILM-LP, and W51CW will all be turning off their analog signals. Read more

One thing which the Nintendo DS has not received much love in terms of types of characters, is zombies. DS owners had a Resident Evil release, as well as a few other notable releases with these whacked out creatures, but nothing to really garner any attention. InLight Entertainment has tried to change that with the Nintendo DS game Teenage Zombies: Invasion of the Alien Brain Thingys. Is this really an invasion you’ll enjoy though? Or one you want to truly run from?
The game is set up as a slow platformer in a sense, as you have to solve many puzzles along the way as you run into quite a few aliens and zombies. The story is presented in a comic book style as players have to turn the DS on its side to check out everything going on. Read more
EA Working On Skate It For Wii With Balance Board Support
