Castlevania Judgment
Wii Review
Publisher: Konami
Developer: Konami
Released: November 18, 2008
Konami has done a great job recently with the latest Castlevania games, especially with the releases on the Nintendo DS. They have attempted something new this time out with Castlevania Judgment on the Nintendo Wii, as it is a one-on-one fighting game.
I was a bits skeptical when I heard about Castlevania Judgment and what it was all going to be about. This was due to the fact that I was afraid that it was going to be just a knock-off, an average fighting game that would carry the franchise tag in order to do a little bit better at retail. Things have changed though as the Xbox 360 gamers have received Banjo Kazooie Nuts & Bolts.
When you first hop into the game there are some similarities which will immediately tie it to games of the past. Jarhead
Blu-ray Review
Universal Studios Home Entertainment
Released: November 25, 2008
Jarhead is an interesting movie as it is a war-movie that touches on some very deep topics without actually going to the battlefield or throwing you in the middle of tons of action.
The film takes this idea and tries its best to run with it, and succeeds in many fronts. The will have you following a group of Marines who never really get into any type of battle, but have plenty of issues of their own. Read more

The Kingdom comes from the director of Friday Night Lights and is a film that packs plenty of action and suspense while bringing in politics and plenty of other topics. The film stars Jamie Foxx, Chris Cooper, and Jennifer Garner and has hit the Blu-ray format.
The film is politically charged and does a good job from the start of introducing us to the relationship between the Americans and Saudi Arabia. You are immediately introduced to all of the terrorism, the innocent people being killed, etc. Read more

Fred Claus stars Vince Vaughn and Paul Giamatti in a funny Christmas tale which unfortunately does not focus on the holidays and the enjoyment of it all as much as it probably should. Read more
