Apple Updates MobileMe Status, Working To Restore E-Mail
July 29, 2008
Washington (dbTechno) - Apple has updated the MobileMe status page yet again, stating that they continue to work to restore full access.
The latest update to the MobileMe status page stated that “restoring full e-mail access to the remaining 1% of MobileMe users is our first priority.”
“We turned on web access to their current e-mamil yesterday and the feedback has been cautiously positive.”
It seems that Apple is taking it slow as they continue to have troubles with the MobileMe service.
1% of the MobileMe subscribers have been unable to access their e-mail accounts, with many losing their e-mails sent to them forever.
Apple stated “We’ve retored full e-mail history (minus the 10% of mail received between 18-22 July which may have been lost) and the ability to access e-mail from Mac, PC, and iPhone, to over 40% of these users.”
They expect all to be fully restored “in the next few days.”
