Boston (DbTechNo) - After undergoing a liver transplant earlier this year, Apple CEO Steve Jobs is set to return to the office.

His health had been ailing for the last few years, a fact which led to many rumors floating around as to possible problems he was dealing with.

Back in 2004, he was diagnosed and treated for pancreatic cancer, and many thought he may have been rediagnosed with the disease.

Back in January, speculation increased when Jobs, 54, announced he was taking a medical leave from the company.

Well it became public news last week that Jobs had actually undergone a liver transplant in April.

He has since recovered and is preparing to step back into the office this week sometime.

Despite uncertainty when it comes to the health of Jobs, shares in Apple have skyrocketed by as much as 66% during his time away from the company.
