Lexus Unveils Dedicated Hybrid Model, 2010 HS 250h

Washington (dbTechno) - Lexus made history as they introduced their first dedicated hybrid vehicle this week, the 2010 HS 250h.

This revelation marked the first dedicated luxury hybrid vehicle, the 2010 HS 250h.

The new model is said to fit between the IS luxury sport sedan, and the ES luxury sedan.

The model will come equipped with a four-cylinder gas engine, the 2.4-liter Atkinson-cycle powerplant.

The HS 250h will go on sale soon and will haev the best fuel efficiency in teh entire line-up of the company.

It is expected that the fuel efficiency rating wil be similar to that of other subcompact cars on the market.

There will also be a brand new exhaust heat recovery system installed for the first time.

This will allow the engine to warm-up faster, making the cabin heat up quickly in the winter.

The entire system will feature 187 total system horsepower with the electric motor and engine combined.
