SanDisk Unveils New 32 GB Flash Card
February 4, 2008
Washington (dbTechno) - SanDisk has come out and unveiled a new 32 GB SDHC Flash card to add to their Ultra II SDHC memory card line-up.
SanDisk has announced that they will be coming out with SDHC memory cards in the sizes of 8 GB, 16 GB, and 32 GB.
The 32 GB memory card is absolutely massive when you consider the tiny physical size of it.
It can hold up to 40 hours of standard definition video, and thousands of images.
Susan Park, manager for SanDisk Ultra II cards stated “As cameras offer more megapixels and as new high-definition record-to-memory card camcorders are being introduced, the image sizes and filed get bigger and requiring higher card capacity.”
The cards can read and write at 15 MB/s.
The 32 GB SanDisk Ultra II SDHC card will retail for $349.99, while the 16 GB will be at $179.99, and the 8 GB at $99.99.
