Canadian Actor Corey Haim Laid to Rest

Canadian actor Corey Haim was laid to rest this afternoon at the Steeles College Memorial Chapel in Thornhill, Toronto.
Haim died last Wednesday in the early hours of the morning after collapsing inside his mom’s Los Angeles apartment.
Initial reports were that he died from a drug overdose, but we are yet to receive 100% proof that this is actually his cause of death.
Since his death, police have released information pertaining to a potential drug ring that Haim may have been a part of.
They continue to investigate after they removed 4 prescription pill bottles from his mother’s apartment, as well as an illegal prescription.
Tiger Woods and Wife Elin Photoed Together

Rumors that Tiger Woods is back with his wife Elin appear to be true as the pair were recently photographed together.
Woods has been in the doghouse since November when Elin found out that he had been cheating on her.
Since then, it has come out that Tiger has had sexual relations with up to 16 different women, but despite this fact Elin is apparently very forgiving.
Woods appears to be sorry for his actions, maybe he is or maybe he is just sorry he was caught.
Either way, he is back in Elin’s arms for better or for worse, and is also planning a return to golf.
He will be coming out of his short funk to appear at the 2010 Masters to be played at Augusta beginning April 8.
Kate Winslet Filing for Divorce from Hubby Sam Mendes

It is being reported that Kate Winslet has split from her husband, Sam Mendes.
The pair have been married for the last 7 years, and according to a friend of the actress Kate simply feels bored.
Ironically enough, the pair worked together on a movie 2 years ago, featuring a couple that end up breaking up.
According to the same friend, Kate believes that that movie put a lot of stress on their marriage, and she regretted making it.
“They’ve been pretty much living separate lives since the end of the summer,” the friend said. “They realized some time ago that they were not a good fit. They were more like brother and sister.”
The pair have a young son together named Joe, and a child from Kate’s first marriage to director Jim Threapleton.
Erin Andrews Stalker Sentenced to 30 Months in Jail

The man who stalked ESPN reporter Erin Andrews was sentenced to 2 and a half years in prison.
Illinois insurance executive Michael David Barrett stalked Andrews across the country, shooting naked videos of her through peepholes in hotel room doors.
“I’m at the angry stage,” she told reporters. “Thirty months isn’t enough.”
Erin may not be the only woman that Michael stalked, as investigators are looking into the possibility that there were multiple victims of his video camera.
“The victim, Andrews, will be suffering with this problem for the rest of her life,” said the sentencing judge. “There is no life sentence that can be imposed upon him, except his own guilt.”
Charlie Sheen Pleads Not Guilty to Domestic Assault Charge

Two and a Half Men star Charlie Sheen has pled not guilty in court to charges of domestic assault, stemming from an incident with his wife Brooke back on Christmas day.
He made an appearance in a Colorado court and was charged under his legal name, Carlos Estevez.
Sheen is alleged to have gotten rough with his wife, pinning her to their bed and holding a knife to her throat on December 25.
He was subsequently arrested and charged with assault when his wife called 911 fearing for her life.
Sheen has since completed a short stint in rehab and has returned to work. Brooke also is seeking professional help via a rehab facility.
“Charlie is looking forward to the opportunity to clear his name,” said Sheen’s agent, Stan Rosenfield.
Tiger Woods will Prowl Augusta Greens at the Masters

We have just received word that the best golfer on the planet, Tiger Woods will return to play in the upcoming Masters tournament.
He has been out of action since November, after crashing his SUV and dealing with the backlash from his sex scandle.
He will travel to Augusta for the tournament to begin April 8, and many wonder if he will be a little rusty after taking time off.
Tiger appears confident about his ability to compete at the tourni, saying that he won his first major on the same golf course.
“The Masters is where I won my first major and I view this tournament with great respect. After a long and necessary time away from the game, I feel like I’m ready to start my season at Augusta,” Woods said in the statement published by U.S. media.
Jackson Estate Signs Massive Contract with Sony Music

It is being reported that a new seven-year deal has been reached between administrators of the Jackson estate and his label Sony Music Entertainment.
The deal is said to be one of the richest in history, and could net up to 250 million dollars when all is said and done.
According to a report in the Los Angeles Times, there could be up to 10 new Jackson projects in the works, including unreleased tracks, video games and DVDs.
Michael died back on June 25, and his personal doctor is facing charges relating to his death.
It is estimated that he died with more than 100 unreleased recordings to his name.
