WWE The Life and Times of Mr. Perfect
DVD Review
WWE Home Video
Released: September 4, 2008
The Life and Times of Mr. Perfect is the latest DVD release from WWE Home Video, and follows, a man who I believe, is one of the best wrestlers of all-time. Mr. Perfect, Curt Hennig, was a joy to watch as I was growing up as a wrestling fan, with great in-ring work, great mic work, and more. Though he is not with us anymore, WWE has done a great job of putting out a documentary to show the world just how perfect, he truly was.
Curt Hennig made a major impact when he made it to the WWE, bringing an amazing level of in-ring talent, as well as an incredible array of talent he used on the mic in interviews, commentary, etc. He has some stellar matches with the likes of Bret Hart and others, with every match being as close to perfect as possible. Too Human
Xbox 360 Review
Developer: Silicon Knights
Publisher: Microsoft
Released: August 19, 2008
Too Human marks the first release in what will end up being a trilogy of games from developer Silicon Knights, and was released with extremely high-expectations from gamers. To be quite honest, the expectations were too high, as it would have been impossible for this game to deliver what gamers were hoping for. With that said, that does not take away from the fact that this is still a very good game throughout.
Too Human has you taking on the role of Baldur, who is one of the Aesir gods, whose goal is to protect mankind, fighting off all walks of evil. Things are not all going well for the gods either though, as there is plenty of controversy within the gods themselves. The whole game focuses a great deal on how we are dependent on machines and other forms of technology, and this is clear from Silicon Knights’ presentation of all of it. Read more
