YouTube Ordered To Give Log Of User Activities To Viacom

Boston (dbTechno) - Google’s YouTube took quite a hit as a judge has ruled that YouTube must supply Viacom with a complete log of all user activities. This comes as part of a $1 billion lawsuit filed by Viacom against YouTube.
The log of user activities will include everything from their user names, IP addresses, as well as any videos that these users have watched in the past. Read more

40% Of Users Surfing Web With Insecure, Outdated Web Browsers

Boston (dbTechno) - A new study carried out by researchers has found that 40% of all computer users are surfing the Internet on an insecure and outdated version of their Web browser. This leaves them open to Web-based attacks.

Google Strikes Deal With Family Guy Creator For Content

Washington (dbTechno) - Google has signed a deal with the creator of Family Guy, Seth MacFarlane, for content consisting of two-minute episodes of a new cartoon. The new cartoon is called “Seth MacFarlane’s Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy.” He will produce 50 episodes in total.
The 50 two-minute episodes will be distributed on the internet only as well as through the Adsense network. Read more
Rhapsody Supports iPod, Challenges iTunes Music Store
