Washington (dbTechno) - A new company by the name of Netblender has come out with a brand new program called BD Touch, for the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch. The new program allows users to connect their iPhone or iPod Touch to their Blu-ray players. including the Sony PS3, through an internet link.

Boston (dbTechno) - According to reports, Microsoft is working on apps for the Apple iPhone. Microsoft has apparently assigned a team to work with the iPhone software development kit to create software. The apps will run on both the iPhone and iPod Touch.

Apple Sued Over iTunes Patent Infringement

Washington (dbTechno) - A company by the name of ZapMedia has filed a lawsuit against Apple, stating that Apple is guilty of patent infringement. The lawsuit states that Apple’s iTunes Store uses patented technologies for distributing digital media over the internet.

Japan Launches Safety Investigation of Apple iPod

Tokyo (dbTechno) - Japan has launched a safety investigation of Apple’s iPod line. This comes after the popular iPod nano media players shot out sparks while being recharged in Japan just a few months ago.
Back in January, while an iPod nano was being recharged, sparks flew out of it. There was no one hurt in the incident, and Apple has already stated they are looking into what caused the sparks to fly out. Read more

Apple Misses 1,000 Mark for iTunes Movie Rental Service
