Too Human Xbox 360 Review

Too Human
Xbox 360 Review
Developer: Silicon Knights
Publisher: Microsoft
Released: August 19, 2008
Too Human marks the first release in what will end up being a trilogy of games from developer Silicon Knights, and was released with extremely high-expectations from gamers. To be quite honest, the expectations were too high, as it would have been impossible for this game to deliver what gamers were hoping for. With that said, that does not take away from the fact that this is still a very good game throughout.
Too Human has you taking on the role of Baldur, who is one of the Aesir gods, whose goal is to protect mankind, fighting off all walks of evil. Things are not all going well for the gods either though, as there is plenty of controversy within the gods themselves. The whole game focuses a great deal on how we are dependent on machines and other forms of technology, and this is clear from Silicon Knights’ presentation of all of it. Read more

Nixon
Blu-ray Review
Walt Disney Home Entertainment
Released: August 19, 2008
Oliver Stone was the man behind this film, a political biography focused on Richard Nixon, and starring none other than Sir Anthony Hopkins. Needless to say, it has been a long time coming for this to hit the Blu-ray format.
Nixon released a few years after Oliver Stone put out the other controversial political film, you remember, that little known picture known as JFK…
Anyways, the movie follows Richard Nixon through his entire presidency, with a great deal of focus being put on the Watergate Scandal, which resulted in Nixon having to resign from office before he could be impeached. Read more

Blu-ray Review
Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment
Released: August 19, 2008
Just about everyone at this point knows who Miley Cyrus is, and knows about the character Hannah Montana, as the Disney machine has allowed it to grow to unforeseen heights. With that success, the Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds concert tour took off this past year, and proved to be the hottest ticket around. That concert has now been released on the Blu-ray format, after having a very successful run in theaters.
When I was taking a step back and thinking about who I was writing this review for, I had to really think it through. For the most part, the chances of kids who are big fans of Miley Cyrus and Hannah Montana, and actually read this entire review, are slim. With that said, I quickly realized that if you are reading this, you either secretly like Miley Cyrus songs, or you are just the parent of a kid who is obsessed with the pop icon. Read more
