AMD Saves Energy With Five New Server Processors

Boston (dbTechno) - Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) unveiled five new quad-core Opteron processors on Monday. All five processors are energy-efficient, consuming around 55-watts on average.

Their new product is a search engine which does not focus on words like your typical search engines. Instead, it relies on meaning when it looks up stuff on the Internet. The technology is called natural language technology, based on patents from PARC. Read more
