Apple Updates iMac Line With New Processor, Graphics Options

Boston (dbTechno) - Apple has showcased an updated iMac line on Monday, revealing faster CPU and GPU options. Customers can now purchase up to a 3.06GHz 24″ model of the all-in-one Apple iMac.
Other options include a 2.4GHz and 2.66GHz set-up with the 20″ model, as well as a 2.8GHz option for the 24″ model.
Beyond the faster processors, the graphics options have received an update from Apple as well.
Users now have a choice between the ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro or the NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GS in the 24″ model. The ATI card is a 256MB card, while the NVIDIA offers 512MB.
The iMac line-up now feature a faster front-side bus at 1066MHz, as well as 2GB of memory.
Prices for the 20″ models are at $1199 and $1499.
The 24″ models stand at $1799 and $2199.
