Review
Manufacturer: Kensington
MSRP: $49.99

A keyboard is a keyboard when you really get down to it. Some of them feel great, some don’t, but in the end it is still a keyboard. The high-quality keyboards out there really do not have much to differentiate themselves from each other, until now. Kensington has come out with a new keyboard with some innovative features which set it apart from the rest. Say hello to the Kensington Ci70 Keyboard with USB Ports.

The CI70 feels great if you are someone who types a lot. The keys are very quiet and soft, feeling great for long-hours sitting at the computer.

There is a built-in Windows key as well as an Apple Command key as well. The keyboard feels almost like a laptop-keyboard in terms of just how quiet and soft the keys are.

The only glaring difference to a traditional keyboard here is that the Home/Page Up/Page Down/End keys are all vertical, right next to the Enter key. They seem a it scrunched, but that allowed Kensington to come up with this slim design.

Because of the scrunched keys though, the arrow keys are smaller and a bit harder to hit. This can get a little aggravating at times, but nothing too crazy.

The big selling point for this keyboard is the addition of USB ports. This is the keyboard with connections, and oh is it true. There are two very easy-access USB 2.0 ports right on the keyboard itself allowing for quick connections to digital cameras, MP3 players, etc.

There is also a built-in mini USB connector with a cable right at the top of the keyboard. This is great for connecting your digital camera or mobile phone. This kills the need to run around trying to find that long-lost mini-USB cable when you need it.

This is one extremely convenient little keyboard, and is priced to sell at $49.99. For someone looking for a great keyboard with something extra, the Kensington Ci70 Keyboard with USB Ports is a fantastic choice.

It can be picked up at the Kensington online store.
