Microsoft Releasing Office 2007 SP1 Via Auto Update In June
May 10, 2008
Washington (dbTechno) - Microsoft has announced that they will release the Office 2007 Service Pack 1 via automatic update this June. This comes five months after Office 2007 SP1 was made available to customers.
Microsoft has been waiting nearly a half-year to put Office 2007 SP1 as an automatic download over their update service.
The latest news is that it will be available this June, starting on the 16th.
It is expected to be a gradual roll-out of the service pack, with some seeing it earlier than others.
Microsoft is going to slowly roll it out so that they can be sure they have the service infrastructure to meet the demand for those who want to download it and get it running.
