Stolen Laptop Recovered, Victim Catches Thieves With Web Camera

Boston (dbTechno) - A woman from Westchester, NY had her laptop stolen, but managed to catch the thieves thanks to a camera built-in on the computer.
The victim got a phone call from a friend asking if she was online, as it showed her being on the Internet.
The woman then managed to connect to her laptop thanks to a program called Back to My Mac.
She was able to go on another computer, and determine with that program that her laptop was on the Internet.
She was then able to use the camera of the stolen laptop to take a photograph of one of the thieves.
Police have arrested 23-year old Edmon Shahikian and 20-year old Ian Frias.
They have recovered nearly $5,000 worth of electronics stolen from her apartment a few weeks ago.
