Via Launches New Nano Processor, Aims For Broad Market

Boston (dbTechno) - Via Technologies announced that they have released their new Nano processor, code-named Isaiah.
The new Nano processor is going to allow for three times the performance of their current processor and will use the same amount of power.
Via has been working on the Nano processor for quite some time now and the hope is that the company can use the processor to go after a broader market.
The L version of the processor, for Low Voltage, will be designed for desktop and laptop computers.
It will likely be going up against the Intel Celeron-M and Core 2.
There is also an imiproved version which will be used in mini-notebooks and UMPCs.
All of the current Nano processors are single-core, but they have hinted a dual-core version could be coming.
