June 11, 2008
Boston (dbTechno) - Hewlett-Packard launched their first Voodoo notebook at a worldwide event in Berlin on Wednesday. They have launched the Voodoo Envy 133.
This is the first Voodoo branded notebook released by HP since they acquired the company nearly 2 years ago.
The Voodoo Envy 133 is Intel Centrino based and weighs in at just over 3.3 lbs.
It is only 0.7 inches thick and has a carbon fiber design, with a price tag of $2,099.
The display comes in at 13.3 inches and is an LED WXGA display capable of 1280 X 800. An integrated camera is included as well.
It also ships with the Voodoo IOS (Instant-On Solution) making it the fastest-loading system ever launched by HP.
HP is clearly going for the luxury market with the new Voodoo as critics have given it great praise thus far.
