Apple Gives High End MacBook Air Big Price Cut

Washington (dbTechno) - Apple has announced that they are cutting the price of the high-end MacBook Air by as much as $500.
The new 1.8GHz model which is equipped with a 64GB solid-state drive now costs just $2,598.
This is down from $3,098, the price point before the drop by Apple.
Apple also cut the cost of upgrading from a 1.6GHz process to a 1.8GHz processor from $200 to $100.
Needless to say, if you want the high-end MacBook Air, it will now be $500 cheaper.
The prices are coming down to the lower costs of the NAND flash memory used to produce the solid-state drives.
