Apple Preparing Release Of Touch-Screen Netbook

March 10, 2009

Apple is reportedly hard at work on releasing a 10-inch Netbook which will feature a full touch-screen........Washington (dbTechno) - Apple is reportedly hard at work on releasing a 10-inch Netbook which will feature a full touch-screen.

There have been many reports coming out over the past few days in regards to when and if the Netbook will release.

Reports state though that Apple is hard at work with Wintek from Taiwan to come up with touch-screen displays for thsi new Netbook.

The belief is that the screen is going to be around 10-inches in size, with the retail price being at around $500.

Apple is hoping to try and attract mass market consumers with a device such as this as it is becoming more difficult to get consumers to make big purchases on expensive computers.

All of thsi up to this point is a rumor, with the source being Dow Jones as of right now.

Whether or not this stands up on its own legs and we see some specs soon remains to be seen.
