Dell Tries To Top Apple With World’s Thinnest Laptop
March 18, 2009
Boston (dbTechno) - Many are asking the question, why would companies come out with new products during the middle of a recession?
Somebody obviously forgot to inform Dell of this fact as they have just launched their new rival to the Apple MacBook.
Dell have launched what they are calling “the world’s thinnest laptop,” and it is truly thin, measuring only 1.64cm in thickness.
Despite being super thin, the machine actually weighs more than Apple’s MacBook, tipping the scales at 1.8kg.
Dell have dubbed their super light super thin laptop, Adamo and are selling it for more than $3000.
It comes equipped with a 1.2GHz Intel Core2D processor, Intel’s X4500 graphics chip, and DDR3 system memory.
Dell says that their Adamo is ready for purchase and consumers can order the model as of today!
