Report Names Sweden Best Place In World For A Mom

A U.S.-based charity named Save the Children put out a report Tuesday, naming Sweden as the Washington (dbTechno) - A U.S.-based charity named Save the Children put out a report Tuesday, naming Sweden as the “best place to be a mother in the world.” The honor puts Sweden above other countries such as Norway and Iceland which took second and third.

The report looked at where mothers have the best chance to succeed and thrive, and also where they would have the biggest problems.

The top 10 countries for mothers included New Zealand, Denmark, Australia, Finland, Ireland, Germany and France.

Those at the bottom of the list included Niger, Chad, Yemen, Sierra Leone, Angola, Guinea Bissa, Ethiopia, Mali, and others.

This has been an annual report that has been released every year since 2000.
