Doctor Of Chris Benoit Indicted On 175 Counts

Washington (dbTechno) – The doctor of former pro wrestler Chris Benoit, Dr. Phil Astin has been indicted on 175 counts related to the disbursement of drugs such as anabolic steroids. Back in June 2007 Benoit killed his wife Nancy, and their son Daniel before hanging himself. Anabolic steroids were found in the home.

Following the tragic event, agents began to raid the home and office of Dr. Phil Astin, who has now been charged with 175 counts including conspiracy in prescribing controlled substances to patients.

Astin had already been indicted ons even counts of distributing excessive amount so fpain and anxiety medicine to patients.

The indictment reads that he knew what he was doing and intentionally disbursed the drugs.

Beyond the anabolic steroids, several prescription drugs were found in the home of Benoit.

The indictment states he “knowingly and intentionally” distributed hydrocodone and alprazolam to Benoit. Benoit was also prescribed other medications.

He also sent hydrocodone and alprazolam to Benoit’s wife Nancy.
