The family had to be kicked off because the mother’s autistic son was being too disruptive.

Airline officials contacted the family on Monday to inform them that the carrier would be giving them a full refund of the entire cost of their six one-way tickets.

The tickets were from Detroit to Seattle, via Phoenix. Wendy Slaughter had to be stopped by police officers at the gate in Phoenix, and told that they would not be able to get on a connecting flight because they were being too noisy.

Slaughter stated that she knew her kids were being loud, but she did her best to keep them quiet.

Her 10-year old son Henry is autistic with a very short attention span, while her daughter suffers from cerebral palsy.

The grandmother of the kids stated she needed to book last-minute tickets on Alaska Airlines which cost $2,000.
