The 66-year old conservative political talk show host of Savage Nation stated recently that every autistic child is “a brat who hasn’t been told to cut the act out.”

He put out a statement on the WOR710.com web site, stating that he has no intention of issuing an apology for what he said.

He did, however, state that he exaggerated when he said 99 out of 100 cases of autism were misdiagnosed.

WOR Radio immediately put out a statement to try and stay away from the talk show host.

Since this took place though, their studio in New York City was met with picketers from Autism United.

Many groups are pushing for Savage to be fired immediately for the comments.
