Lone Survivor Of Medevac Chopper Crash Leaves Hospital
November 25, 2008
Washington (dbTechno) - The only survivor of the medevac helicopter crash in Maryland has left the hospital for the first time.
The lone survivor, Jordan Wells, was released from Shock Trauma on Monday.
The 18-year old was the only person to survive the helicopter crash.
She and her best friend were being transported by helicopter to the hospital after a car crash.
Back in September, the medevac helicopter crashed to the ground in Prince George’s County in Maryland.
This was a horrific crash to say the least, and was the deadliest medical helicopter crash in the history of the state.
Bad weather is believed to have been the main cause of the helicopter crash.
A panel of experts in the state have come together to talk about medical helicopter safety and to try and see if they can fix anything.
