Disabled residents in Connecticut had to be rushed to the hospital after they consumed a cake that was filled with prescription pills by whoever had baked it..<br /> ....Washington (dbTechno) - Disabled residents in Connecticut had to be rushed to the hospital after they consumed a cake that was filled with prescription pills by whoever had baked it.

State police reported that the cake was delivered to the disabled residents on Saturday afternoon.

Residents began eating the cake on Sunday, when it was noticed by an employee that there were pills inside of it.

Once they looked into it more, they found that the cake was basked with tons of prescription pills inside of it.

State police had to get to the scene quickly, with anyone who consumed the cake getting the most attention.

Those who ate the cake were taken to St. Mary’s and Bradley Memorial Hospital.

The majority of then remained under obersvation through Monday, but it appears everyone is doing fine.

The employee who had baked the cake, a female, reportedly accidently spilled her prescriptions pills in the kitchen.

Some of the pills apparently made it into the cake, and she has been given a leave.
