Cruise Lines Head Back To Mexico After Swine Flu Problems
May 18, 2009
Boston (dbTechno) - Cruise lines are set to head back to Mexico next week following issues with the H1N1 swine flu virus.
Every single cruise line pulled out of ports in Mexico due to the H1N1 swine flu over the past month, but things are now changing.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have announced that the restrictions against travel to Mexico are being lifted.
They have removed the warning against all non-essential travel to Mexico, opening things up for cruise ships again.
Carnival, as well as Royal Caribbean both announced that they will again begin to bring their cruise ships into ports in Mexico starting next week.
There will be other moves made by cruise lines in the coming weeks as well, with Disney Cruise Line heading back at th ebeginning of June.
Not everyone is taking things as aggressively though, as Norwegian Cruise Line will not head back to Mexico until September 2009.
