Alabama Rallies from 18 Down to Beat South Carolina 68 63

The first day of the Southeastern Conference tournament has already featured a wild and wacky outcome as Alabama bounced South Carolina by 5 after trailing by double didgets.

After building an 18 point second half lead, South Carolina went to sleep allowing Alabama to claw back and eventually take the game by 5.

The game was tied with 57 seconds on the clock when Mikhail Torrance netted a short jumper to put the Tide in front for good.

For their win, the Tide will have a date with top ranked Kentucky in Friday’s quarterfinals.

Torrance was the high scorer for Alabama pouring in 17 points, while Devan Downey scored 21 for the Gamecocks.
