Cornell knocks Temple out of ncaa basketball tournament

The second day of March Madness has already given us an upset as number 12 seed Cornell has taken out number 5 Temple.

The NCAA East Regional game was not even really close, with the final score 78-65.

In years past, the 12 vs. 5 seeded games have always been the one set of games were upsets were common, and this year appears no different.

This win marks the first March Madness win for Cornell who will play again on Sunday and look to make it to the Sweet 16.

The last time that an Ivy League team won a game during March Madness was when Princeton University defeated the University of Nevada back in 1998.
