On Monday Night the Duke Blue Devils will square off against the Butler Bulldogs in the NCAA March Madness championship game. Both teams prevailed in their Final Four games last night and will now clash to determine the king of college hoops.
Butler used their swarming defense to limit Michigan State to only 50 points, and managed 52 pts themselves, outscoring their opponent by two in the second half. Their leader, Gordon Hayward poured in 19 points and snagged nine boards, the most important one coming with less than one second left.
Duke put a beating on West Virginia, in one of the more lopsided Final Four games in recent memory, taking control early and scoring seemingly at will. Duke’s big three, Senior Jon Scheyer and juniors Nolan Smith and Kyle Singler all had monster games, scoring 63 of Duke’s 78 points.
Monday evening Duke and Butler will square off to determine the king of the court, will you be watching?
