McDonalds Must Compensate Obese Manager

It is being reported that McDonalds will be on the hook for more than 17,500 dollars after one of their managers became obese from eating their food.

In a ruling issued this week, a Brazilian court ordered the company to pay the 32 year old former manager the money because he claims that he gained more than 65lbs while working there.

The man claims that to insure that the quality of food was high he would sample it daily and thus packed on the pounds.

He also benefited from free lunches while on the job, another factor that he says contributed to his extra weight.

In a statement, McDonalds say that they will be appealing the court’s decision and that they also offer healthy food choices that the unidentified manager could’ve chosen to eat.
