Cynthia Nixon (PHOTO) Say’s Being Gay Is A Choice

Recently Cynthia Nixon stated that she was gay and that for her it was a choice. Cynthia Nixon is a former star from the tv show Sex and the City. This of course has received considerable backlash from the LGBT (Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgendered) community.

The reason being that most people in the LGBT community do not believe that it is a choice. Cynthia Nixon saying that it is a choice lines up with many religious fanatic beliefs that being gay is a choice. People who believe that people can change their sexuality at will.

This has received considerable attention. Famous gay blogger Perez Hilton stated that, It might be a choice for some people, but not everyone has a choice in who they are attracted to.

Many people have stated that Cynthia Nixon is not actually gay but instead bisexual because she can choose who she is attracted to.
