Man Slashes Brother Over Fast-Food Brownie

Erik Cain, of Carbondale, Pa., has been arrested and charged with multiple counts, including aggravated assault and harassment, after a dispute over a fast-food brownie turned violent.

The argument began when Erik Cain’s brother, Gene Cain, attempted to calm Erik down during an argument over a McDonald’s brownie that had been cut in half.

Erik, 30, reportedly punched his brother in the face and then picked up three steak knives and began stabbing and slashing him. Gene threw a television at Erik to protect himself and Erik fled. He was soon found and arrested by police not far from the home.

Gene Cain was treated at Marian Community Hospital for injuries to his shoulder, arm and wrist. He has since been released.

Erik Cain was charged last month with slashing his girlfriend during an argument and was out on bail during the time of the incident.
