911 Call For Stuffed Lion

A Laguna Beach, California woman received quite a shock one morning. Beverly Bradham looked outside and saw a mountain lion asleep on her neighbor’s patio. She promptly called 911 to report the location of the dangerous predator before the animal woke.

Fortunately, the mountain lion was going anywhere. Both police and animal control handlers showed up ready to deal with a wild animal. But the large tawny colored cat was not going anywhere since it was stuffed.

The owner of the stuffed lion had intended for it to be a joke. The lion was placed on the patio to scare the wife of the neighbor but Bradham discovered the professionally stuffed lion before the neighbors had returned home.

Bradham placed a second call to 911 to let them know that the lion was fake and that there was no threat. However, mountain lions have been seen occasionally in southern California.
