Catt Family Arrested for Credit Union Robbery
Father and son, Ronald and Hayden Catt have been arrested by deputies with the Fort Bend, Texas Sheriff’s Office for an armed robbery that took place in Katy, Texas. 18 year old Abby Catt was also arrested for driving the getaway car from the credit union robbed by Ronald, 50 and Hayden, 20.
According to ABC News, the Catt family are accused of robbing the credit union on October 1st, 2012 dressed in masks and distinctive orange vests; the vests were traced by Fort Bend deputies to a home depot store that held surveillance video of the Catt’s purchasing the clothing and led to their arrest.
Deputies are now investigating whether the Catt family have been responsible for similar robberies that took place in Texas and Oregon.
The members of the family are currently being held at the Fort Bend County Jail as they await trial with bond set at $140,000 each for Ronald and Hayden; Abby Catt has bond set at $100,000.
Eric Lundeen told ABC News he knows the Catt family and said they seemed like “really solid community members”.
“He was a single dad. I think he lost his wife and he had the responsibility to take care of his kids and I got to tell you, he was there for them,” Lundeen said.
