Bigfoot Roams Turnbridge Wells; Recent Spotting Sparks Controversy
Tunbridge Wells is a small, quiet town in Britain, but if reports are correct they may be in for some excitement in the area. Last month a “Bigfoot-like creature” was spotted in the center of the town; a large wooded area that walkers and hikers utilize for exercise.
According to Kent News, the creature was spotted by a walker who has not been identified. According to reports the creature was roughly eight-feet tall, with long limbs and covered in hair. While this report is the most recent it certainly isn’t the first report of a bigfoot creature in the area.
Reports have been coming in, sporadically, for over 70 years of a similar creature. An elderly woman has come forward to report a run in with the animal shortly after World War II. Another report by a college student traveling home one evening fits the description of other reports, as well.
According to Kent News:
“One particular day she went to the Common with her husband and was sitting on a bench when they became aware of a shuffling noise behind them.
“Upon turning around both her husband and herself saw what she described as a tall, hairy ape like creature with eyes that were burning a reddish colour and it was moving towards them at a slow pace. They observed this creature for some time until they became afraid and they both fled – terrified.
“She went on to say that they told the police and members of their family, thinking that a gorilla had escaped from a zoo, but were laughed at and were not believed.”
Whether or not their is a bigfoot among the people of Turnbridge Wells remains a mystery, however the recent reports have put many skeptics and believers on the look out for the creature.
