The FBI has both photographs and video which they are using to search for two possible suspects in the gruesome Boston Marathon bombing. For now, the FBI is circulating photographs which were taken near the site of the bomb blasts but before the explosives were detonated. The photographs are said to be confidential at this time.
Therefore, the public has not viewed them. One of the photographs shows a man with a black backpack which is significant given the FBI believes that is how the bombs were smuggled in to the finish line. In a separate video, it is said that a man wearing a black jacket, light-colored hood, and white baseball cap in reverse was photographed leaving the bomb site.
He too is a person of interest. Some people in connection with the investigation believe one of the suspects has been identified, but this is unconfirmed. As of Wednesday, authorities reported the ongoing investigation is progressing well, but no arrests have been made.
However, a suspect has been arrested in connection with the ricin-laced letter sent to both President Obama & Senator Roger Wicker of Mississippi. The suspect’s name has not been released.
The FBI has not found any connection between the bombing and Ricin-letter attacks.
