Tangshan, China – two duly authorized female traffic officers, sworn to uphold law and order, tried to take each other’s heads off in a street brawl before stunned members of the general public, reports the Daily Mail.
The melee occurred during rush hour no less.
It may not be clear who won the fight nor why it started, but it is clear from the footage that both ladies got in some choice hits on each other. It is also clear that both ladies can lay claim on being able to take a punch. The two got so involved in the fight that they became oblivious to pedestrians and cars both of whom passed by them unnoticed during their “rock ’em sock ’em” exchange.
A third traffic officer abandoned her post to approach them about ceasing their behavior.
The two were still observed to be pulling one another’s hair while being chastised by their fellow officer. According to local media, the two women were part-time traffic wardens who were to provide respite to busy police offers managing traffic in this metropolis of 7.5 million people. Their fight took place during the morning rush hour on July 8.
Perhaps this line of work doesn’t agree with them. In either case, both officers were fired after the fight.
