SanDisk with this introduction of this line of low-cost clip MP3 players will allow them to go head to head with the Creative Zen Stone and the Apple iPod Shuffle.

The Sansa Clip is the new range of low-cost MP3 players. They will have storage capacities of 1GB and 2GB. These little devices pack a load of features as well as they have an FM stereo receiver, as well as the ability to record voices and record from the receiver.

They support MP3 and WMA audio playback and have a rechargable Lithium-ion battery built in which lasts 15 hours per charge.

The 1GB version will sell for only $39.99 while the 2GB will sell for $59.99. This is easily the best deal for anyone looking for a budget MP3 player.

    What if the user wants to use this in their car?
    Can this devices power be supported by a car charger?
    If so then shouldnt they also be able to plug it into the INPUT on their car stereo as well as the charger and take it away down the road without the expense of the battery?

    That would be real nice
