Washington (dbTechno) – According to reports, a dedicated Beatles edition of the popular video-game franchise Guitar Hero could be in the works.
It appears that Guitar Hero may begin to go the trend of focusing on specific editions of the game for music groups.
Guitar Hero: Aerosmith has already been confirmed and will be released this coming June.
Martin N. Bandier, who owns the majority of the Beatles catalog, is warming up to the idea of a Guitar Hero: Beatles.
Bandier told the Los Angeles Times that he “liked the idea” of a dedicated Beatles edition of Guitar Hero.
He stated “It’s something we have talked about and something I’d like to pursue.”
This will be the second themed Guitar Hero game, and could end up being the biggest Guitar Hero ever.
This doesn’t seem like a very good concept for Guitar Hero. Last I checked, the Beatles’ music is more great composition work, not finger breaking solo or riff work. I think they would be better suited for Rock Band.
keith i totally agree. instead they should have a led zeppelin edition. that would be epic and a whole lot more practical.
