The individual apparently made a bot for the World of Warcraft MMORPG, violating the company’s copyright and damaging the game.

The individual is Michael Donnelly, who has been credited for coding the software.

The bot allows characters in World of Warcraft to perform tasks automatically, without people even having to be at their computers.

According to reports, 100,000 copies of the bot tool, MMO Glider, have been licensed out.

Donnelly was asked by Blizzard to stop selling the software, and to pay them whatever he has made from it. When he refused, he was handed a lawsuit.

Bots are an extremely common thing in many MMORPG affairs.

They are cheating tools as they allow tasks to be carried out without any need for an actual player to do anything. You simply activate the bot and your characters goes off like a robot, doing whatever he or she is programmed to do.

There are over 10 million people playing World of Warcraft, and it appears that Blizzard will do anything to keep things fair.
