Google Strikes Deal With Family Guy Creator For Content

Google has signed a deal with the creator of Family Guy, Seth MacFarlane, for content consisting of two-minute episodes of a new cartoon. The new cartoon is called Washington (dbTechno) – Google has signed a deal with the creator of Family Guy, Seth MacFarlane, for content consisting of two-minute episodes of a new cartoon. The new cartoon is called “Seth MacFarlane’s Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy.” He will produce 50 episodes in total.

The 50 two-minute episodes will be distributed on the internet only as well as through the Adsense network.

Per the terms of the deal, the Family Guy creator will get a percentage of the profit made through advertising involved with the show.

The idea here seems to be that Google wants to build up a library of content that people will be able to take and host on their sites.

From there, they will be able to embed advertisements in the videos, helping both the owner of the site, the creator of the content, and Google to earn revenue off of it.

It has been noted that this is one of the biggest deals yet to help push Google AdSense.
