RealDVD Allows You To Copy DVDs Legally To Hard Drive

Boston (dbTechno) – Real Networks has put out a new legal way for consumers to copy their DVDs with a program called RealDVD.

Real Networks has announced the release of RealDVD, which is going to retail for $39.99 on the PC.

Real Networks has also released it in the form of a 30-day free trial for thsoe who want to give it a shot.

The software works by offering a simple and legal way to back-up your DVDs.

The RealDVD software takes your DVDs and has the ability to rip the movies onto a local or portable hard drive, while retaining the same DRM encrypted format.

This new software will allow consumers to keep their DVD library on a hard drive, playing them whenever they want.

Real Networks has stated though that if you do not own the DVD, you should not save it.

This will likely not take away though from many who see this as an opportunity to copy a rented or borrwed DVD.
