Paramount Home Entertainment is getting set to release a new horror entry on the DVD format next week in the form of Nite Tales.

Nite Tales is a release which actually packs in some decent entertainment to say the least.

The film is hosted by none other than Flavor Flav from Public Enemy, as the DVD release actually packs in two different horror tales into one.

The first tale is called Storm, while the second is called Karma.  These two are pretty interesting features to say the least, with one honing in on a group of bank robbers, while the other revolves around a group of college kids.

These two features included in the release are not half-bad, and fans of Flavor Flav will get a decent amount of enjoyment in terms of horror being packed in.

The only extra on the release consist of Nite Tales Behind the Scenes, which is narrated by Deon Taylor, who wrote, and directed the feature.

Nite Tales is an entertaining release on the DVD format and is worth a rental for fans of this type of entertainment.

Film: 6.8  Not perfect, but the content here will entertain horror fans.

Video: 7.5  Low-budget, so nothing really special.

Audio: 7.0  Same as with the video, it does enough to get by.

Extras: 5.0  Not much here.

Final Score: 6.2

  • I agree wholeheartedly with this review. The movie ain’t perfect, but it’s good enough for horror fans who are just looking to have a little fun (and not be challenged too much). Picked up the DVD last week!
