Noah’s Arc: Jumping the Broom follows Noah, Ricky, Chance, Alex, Wade, and everyone else from the hit Logo series.
This one picks up where season 2 left off and is definitely a feature that is going to appeal to fans of this series.
Noah’s Arc airs on Logo and is a gay television series, one which is done very nicely as the execution of there, the entertainment is there, etc.
The feature here pretty much revolves around Noah and Wade getting married, as you not only get this, but many other relationship twists and turns along the way as well.
The film takes place on Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts, which makes for a very nice setting throughout to be quite honest.
Needless to say, if you are a fan of the hit Logo series, you are definitely going to enjoy this one.
In terms of the extras for this one, there is a decent set of deleted scenes, as well as a few other things which were thrown in.
The other extras included a wedding video based on Noah’s wedding, as well as director’s diaries, and a cast photo shoot.
It is nice to see the various characters in these extras as fans will enjoy the added time they get to spend with them.
Also included is a well-done making-of featurette for the film.
Overall, Noah’s Arc Jumping the Broom is a nice continuation for the television series, and a nice jump to film for it as the characters do very well, and the story progresses nicely. If you are a fan of the series, this is a must buy.
Film: 8.0 A nice transition from the TV series to film, very entertaining.
Video: 7.5 A very average video transfer, nice use of colors though.
Audio: 8.0 Front-heavy, but crystal clear throughout.
Extras: 7.2 Some decent stuff here, the deleted scenes, making-of feature, etc. are good additions.
Final Score: 7.5
