Boston (dbTechno) – Fans of Amazon’s Kindle are jumping for joy as the company have begun shipping Kindle 2 models a day ahead of schedule.
The Kindle 2 was originally unveiled on February 6th, and since that day, pre-orders for the e-book reader have been pouring in.
Currently the Kindle 2 is the top selling digital device on the Amazon.com website.
The Kindle 2 has basically the same features as the original Kindle, but does come in a sleeker design.
The Kindle 2 features 3G wireless for faster e-book downloads, a feature not present on the original Kindle.
The new Kindle also can hold up to 1500 books, while the original Kindle could only hold up to 200.
How much will the Kindle 2 burn your wallet? It will cost $359.00, the same price as the original version.
