Obama All Access
DVD Review
Paramount Home Entertainment
CBS DVD
Release: February 17, 2009
Paramount Home Entertainment and CBS DVD have releases Obama All Access on the DVD format, with the goal of capturing the road Barack Obama took to the White House.
Obama All Access – Barack Obama’s Road To The White House captures everything historic about his presidential campaign and his historic election day victory.
The DVD is made up of a bunch of various segments which focus on how he got to become the 44th President.
There is a 60 Minutes profile here from back in November 2008, as well as another 30-minute feature which recaps his entire campaign.
All of the pieces included here add up to a basic compilation of tons of features which aired throughout the end of 2008 to capture the magic that was his campaign.
There are also several other notable Obama moments such as deleted scenes from interviews, his speech in Berlin, his election night victory speech, etc.
The whole thing concludes with his inauguration on January 20th, 2009.
Though the DVD itself is not likely going to stand up to many repeated viewings, I actually had a lot of enjoyment going back and watching some of these amazing speeches and various pieces of history.
This DVD is one which you are going to want to have for historical reference years from now, and for that it does a great job as it showcases Barack Obama and his road to the White House with great detail. Well-worth picking up for those who want to keep these moments in history as part of their DVD collection.
