World Wrestling Entertainment enjoyed an amazing run in the 1990s, thanks in great part to some of the most popular stars the industry has ever seen, with The Rock, Steve Austin, and Bret Hart immediately coming to mind.  These superstars have been showcased here in a new release, Greatest Stars of the 90s.

This Greatest Stars of the 90s DVD release is a 3-disc set that focuses on the big wrestlers from the 90s era.

The 3-disc set is set up nicely as you are presented with a very well-done documentary on the first disc, while the other discs are kept for the purpose of plenty of promos, matches, and much more.

The documentary on the first disc is hosted by Taz and runs for well over two hours, looking at many big wrestlers and giving full profiles of each.

The wrestlers focused on include Kevin Nash, The Rock, Shawn Michaels, Yokozuna, Lex Luger, Sting, Razor Ramon, Undertaker, Steve Austin, Ric Flair, Owen Hart, Triple H,  and Hulk Hogan.

The full profiles featured here are a lot of fun to listen to and are a real ride down memory lane.

From here, there are plenty of promos, matches, and vignettes that are features across all 3-discs beyond just the big documentary.

Some of the more memorable matches include the big match between Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan in Madison Square Garden back in 1991.

From here, there are plenty of other big matches such as Bret Hart vs. Shawn Michaels, Sting vs. Bret Hart, Steve Austin vs. Undertaker, and many more.

The content here is spanned out nicely across all of the 1990s, with stuff from each and every year.

All in all WWE Greatest Stars of the 90s is a fantastic DVD release from WWE Home Video as the documentary is superb, and the extras with all of the matches, promos, etc. make this something wrestling fans simply cannot miss!

Content: 9.2 Tremendous stuff with the documentary and everything else!

Video: 8.0 Not half-bad at all, quality of certain matches depends on source.

Audio: 7.9 Audio is as clear as it needs to be.

Extras: 9.5
Tons and tons of matches, promos, etc. beyond the main documentary.

Final Score: 9.2
